The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) and the visiting Los Osos Grizzlies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), observed South Hills's football squad edge Los Osos by a count of 31-28.
The Huskies now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Charter Oak for a Sierra contest on Friday, October 14. South Hills will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-1.
The Grizzlies (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Tartans enter the Baseline match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Glendora held off Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 24-7, in a non-league match.
