The New Philadelphia Quakers thwarted the visiting Zanesville Blue Devils football team by a count of 19-7 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, New Philadelphia upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Quakers travel to John Glenn (New Concord, OH) to encounter the Little Muskies in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 20. The Little Muskies come into the test with a record of 2-6. John Glenn lost 39-7 in their recent league test against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH)
With the loss, Zanesville drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Cambridge (Cambridge, OH) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 21. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 6-2. Cambridge lost 31-24 in their recent non-league test against Dover (Dover, OH)
