The Pierce Bluejays football team lost Friday's home conference game against rival school Norfolk Catholic by a score of 16-14.
The Norfolk Catholic Knights (Norfolk, NE) football edged the host Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), 16-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Knights face the St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. Norfolk Catholic will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 34-14 league loss to Boone Central (Albion, NE).
The Bluejays (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE). The Braves enter the C1 District 7 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Battle Creek tipped Madison (Madison, NE), 16-15, in a league contest.
The Norfolk Catholic Knights football team won Friday's away conference game against Pierce by a score of 16-14.
The Pierce Bluejays football team lost Tuesday's neutral playoff game against rival school Norfolk Catholic by a score of 22-10.
