(September 14, 2012: Kea'au, HI 96749) The Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors football squad scored 24 points and restricted the visiting Hawaii Prep Ka Makani to 6 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ka'u for a Big Island II battle on Friday, September 21. Kamehameha Hawai'i will face a Trojans squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Ka Makani face the Konawaena Wildcats (Kealakekua, HI) in a Big Island II battle, on Saturday, September 22. Hawaii Prep will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 76-0 league win over Kohala (Kapaau, HI).
