The Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) football routed the visiting Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID), 48-8 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Russets face the Buhl Indians (Buhl, ID) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 27. Shelley will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 19-7 non-league win over Wendell (Wendell, ID).

The Diggers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snake River for a non-league game on Saturday, October 27. Sugar-Salem will battle a Panthers team coming off a 41-0 league win over American Falls (American Falls, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
