The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA) and the visiting Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), observed Thomasville's football squad defeat Cairo by a count of 21-10.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Stewart County for a non-league contest on Friday, September 6. Thomasville will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 35-8 non-league loss to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
Coming up next, the Syrupmakers encounter the Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Cairo will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over East Gadsden (Havana, FL).
