The Jackson Polar Bears football team lost Friday's home conference game against McKinley by a score of 34-27.
In Friday's league match, the visiting McKinley Bulldogs football squad scored a close 34-27 victory over the Jackson Polar Bears.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) in a Federal match, on Saturday, October 10. McKinley will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 35-20 non-league loss to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH).
The Polar Bears (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Northwest was nudged by Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH), 22-7, in a league match.
