The John Paul II (Plano, TX) varsity football team lost Friday's home conference game against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX) by a score of 83-56.
The Trinity Christian Trojans football squad scored 83 points and limited the host John Paul II Cardinals to 56 in the Trojans league win on Friday.
The Trojans now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Christian for a TAPPS Division I District 1 battle on Friday, October 23. Trinity Christian will play a Warriors squad coming off a 35-14 league loss to Bishop Dunne (Dallas, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 5-2.
Coming up next, the Cardinals play the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS Division I District 1 battle, on Friday, October 23. John Paul II will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 57-14 league loss to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX).
