In Friday's league match, the host Smithville Warriors football squad scored a good 17-6 victory over the Bishop LeBlond Eagles.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a Midland Empire match, on Friday, September 30. Smithville will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Spoofhounds enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 48-6 league win over Benton (St. Joseph, MO).
