The Covington Catholic Colonels football team lost Friday's home non-conference game against Scott County by a score of 35-28.

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Scott County Cardinals football squad scored a close 35-28 victory over the Covington Catholic Colonels.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 4. Scott County will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 72-0 non-league loss to Oldham County (Buckner, KY).
The Colonels (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Fairdale held off Holy Cross (Louisville, KY), 28-21, in a non-league match.
