The Fishers Tigers won the coin toss and chose to defer to the second half as the Zionsville Eagles received the opening kickoff. On 3rd down, Eagles quarterback Josh Wagner mishandled the snap and was forced to scramble. Roman Molden stepped in front of the ball to get the early turnover for the Tigers deep in Eagle territory. The Fishers offense was stopped on 2nd and 3rd down and forced to settle for a 25 yard field goal from Ben Norton. On the next drive, the pass was tipped and intercepted by Michael Longo who returned it 33 yards to the Eagles 35. HL Lewis soon found the end zone for the Tigers as they took the early 10-0 lead.

The Tigers offense finished the 1st quarter on the field and kept the drive going into the early 2nd quarter. After being stopped with a couple penalties, the Ben Norton converted a 22 yard field goal to extend the lead to 13 for Fishers. Zionsville's next drive was stopped and the Eagles were forced to punt. After a holding penalty, the Tigers were backed up to their own 13. On 3rd down, Matt Wolff escaped a sack and found Will Syrus at the 50 yard line. The defensive back tripped just as Syrus caught the ball and he was able to finish off the 87 yard touchdown to take a 20-0 lead for the Tigers. With just under 2 minutes remaining in the half, the Eagles put together a quick drive to find the end zone. Receiver Jordan Hull made an amazing catch as he just out-jumped the Tigers defensive back and a nice pass from Wagner to trim the lead

The Eagles attempted an onside kick to begin the 2nd half, but Emmanuel Davis landed on the bouncing ball for the Tigers. Fishers put together two long 3rd down conversions, but a sack on a subsequent 3rd down forced the Tigers to settle for another Norton field goal. The Eagles answered with 2 quick completions including a 59 yard pass to Joel Decoursey to the Tigers 11 yard line. A couple incomplete passes led to a 32 yd field goal by Chris Freeman to cut the Tigers lead to 23-10. The Tigers defense and special teams were outstanding to finish the quarter as Luke Uribe recovered a fumble and Ben Norton later unleashed a 62 yard punt that pinned the Eagles at their own 1.
Neither team added to the scoreboard in the 4th quarter as both defenses seemed to step up at opportune times. Georffrey Brown had a great interception for the Tigers who then drove down the field into Eagles territory. Matt Wolff was picked off for only the third time all season by Nick Nelson at the 8 yard line. The Tigers defense had a big stop to force a turnover on downs and the offense was able to gain enough yardage to run out the clock and seal the win.
