The Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) football routed the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), 52-15 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Storm face the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a 6A District 1 bout, on Friday, October 19. Cleveland will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).

The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs enter the 6A District 1 bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, West Mesa was crushed by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 45-0, in a league bout.
