(November 13, 2007: Tampa, FL 33647) The Hillsborough Terriers (Tampa, FL) basketball crushed the host Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL), 61-23 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Terriers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Gaither (Tampa, FL). The Cowboys go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Gaither walloped Leto (Tampa, FL), 53-35, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Armwood for a 5A District 8 test on Friday, November 16. Wharton will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 40-32 non-league loss to Durant (Plant City, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Lady Terriers jump out early with their stifling full court press and had a 16-5 lead after the first quarter.

The Lady Terriers picked it up and went to another level with a full court man-to-man trap and outscored Wharton 19-6.
Third Quarter Summary
Nothing changed after halftime. Hillsborough was still in the swing of things and came out on fire. This resulted in a 20-8 third quarter. By them being on fire, a running clock was instituted toward the end of the quarter.
Fourth Quarter Summary
Running clock kept this quarter close as Hillsborough outscored Wharton 6-4 but in the end, Hillsborough Lady Terriers was victorious 61-23.
