Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) and the visiting Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC), saw Spartanburg's basketball squad overcome Broome by a count of 58-45.

With the victory, Spartanburg upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to York (York, SC) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 14. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. York lost 66-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Chester (Chester, SC)

Next up, the Centurions play the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 15. Broome will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
