The Corona del Sol Aztecs girls basketball team lost Tuesday's neutral tournament game against Thunderbird by a score of 68-42.

The Thunderbird Chiefs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 42 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 30. Thunderbird will meet a Skyhawks team coming off a 64-39 non-league loss to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 4-5.
The Aztecs (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Paradise Valley was routed by Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ), 30-24, in a non-league contest.
