The Grand Junction Central Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Fruita Monument Wildcats to 33 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Delta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 19. Grand Junction Central will meet a Panthers team coming off a 53-49 league loss to Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Durango (Durango, CO). The Demons come into the 5A/4A Southwestern contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Durango trounced Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO), 56-54, in a league contest.
