The Conemaugh Township Indians girls basketball team lost Friday's home non-conference game against Ligonier Valley by a score of 53-50.
In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams basketball team scored a tight 53-50 triumph over the Conemaugh Township Indians.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Blairsville Bobcats (Blairsville, PA) in a Heritage match, on Tuesday, January 24. Ligonier Valley will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record.
With the defeat, Conemaugh Township moves to 11-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to confront the Vikings in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern match on Monday, January 23. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-6. Blacklick Valley won 55-15 in their recent non-league match against Harmony Area (Westover, PA)
