The Edison Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Washington-Lee Generals to 31 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Wakefield for a AAA National contest on Tuesday, January 17. Edison will meet a Warriors team coming off a 53-33 league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
The Generals (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart (Falls Church, VA). The Raiders go into the AAA National bout with a 0-11 record. In their last bout, Stuart was knocked off by Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA), 103-12, in a league bout.
