Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA), 95-77 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mifflin County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The host Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Central Mountain won 51-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA)
Next up, the Bearcats battle the Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Huntingdon will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Squires come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 65-48 non-league win over Seton Keough (Baltimore, MD).
