The Dock Mennonite (Lansdale, PA) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference game against New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA) by a score of 52-16.
The New Hope-Solebury Lions basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Dock Mennonite Pioneers to 16 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conwell-Egan Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. New Hope-Solebury will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-30 league loss to St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-14.
The Pioneers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Plumstead Christian (Plumsteadville, PA). The come into the Bicentennial - Constitution contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Plumstead Christian was routed by New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA), 55-18, in a non-league contest.
