The Pomperaug Panthers lacrosse team (Southbury, CT), was overwhelmed 19-11 in Monday's league test with the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT)

Coming up next, the Nighthawks confront the Hall Warriors (West Hartford, CT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 3. Newtown will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the test with a 6-1 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, CT).

The Panthers now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host New Milford for a Southwest test on Thursday, May 3. Pomperaug will confront a Green Wave team coming off a 17-16 league loss to Barlow (Redding, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-2.
