The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Choate Rosemary Hall Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) and the visiting Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers (Mount Hermon, MA), saw Choate Rosemary Hall's lacrosse team achieve victory over Northfield Mount Hermon by a margin of 10-6.

The Hoggers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Beavers enter the Founders challenge with a 0-0 record.
NMH boys' varsity lacrosse looked to rebound from last weekend's season opener with a road trip to Choate. These two teams have been evenly matched for the past five years, with each of those games being decided by four goals or fewer, and Wednesday fell in line with recent history. The Hoggers roared out to early leads of 2 - 0 and 5 - 1, but Choate went on to outscore NMH 9 - 1 down the stretch, earning a much deserved 10 - 6 victory given how well they played in the second half.
Leading the way offensively for NMH were co-captain Jordan Dow '14 (Sudbury, MA) with 2 goals & 2 assists and Briton Barge '14 (Larkspur, CA) with 1 goal & 1 assist. Luke Leyden '14 (Northfield, MA) and Charlie Winsor '16 (Boulder, CO) did an outstanding job controlling loose balls for numerous important possessions, and David Winsor '15 (Boulder, CO) made 12 key saves in goal.
