Coming off a loss in their home finale, NMH looked to end the season on a positive note Friday night when they traveled to Windsor, CT to take on the Pelicans of Loomis Chaffee School in a night game. The Hoggers were in control for the majority of the game, holding leads of 4-1, 6-2, and 7-4, but the Pelicans never gave up. In the fourth quarter, Loomis came to life and scored six unanswered goals to take a three goal lead down the stretch. The Hoggers fought valiantly to score twice, but could not convert a key chance to send the game to overtime. In the end, Loomis completed an improbably comeback and won by the final score of 10-9.
Leading the way offensively for NMH was co-captain Jordan Dow '14 (Sudbury, MA) with 3 goals and 2 assists. Luke Leyden '14 (Northfield, MA) and Alex Bloom '14 (Sudbury, MA) each scored twice for the Hoggers. In goal, David Winsor '15 (Boulder, CO) made 9 saves in the loss.
