Erwin dominated the night and came away with their first road win of the year by beating Pisgah 5-0. The Warriors peppered the goal for 20 minutes before Edwin Amaya finally found the back of the net to get Erwin off their duck. Tyler Wyatt added a PK and Amaya put his 2nd in to give the Warriors a 3-0 halftime advantage. Amaya became the hat-trick hero in the 48th with a rocket from 20 yds out and Henri Cordona finished off the scoring. The Erwin goal was rarely challenged but when it was, Aaron Walden and Danny Amado were up to task, collecting 3 saves each.
Erwin moves to 4-4 on the season and finishes off the non-conference schedule when they host Franklin on Sept 7.
