The crowd at Friday's league outing between the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) and the visiting Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA), saw Nevada Union's soccer squad nudge Roseville by a margin of 2-1.
The Miners now hold a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodcreek for a Sierra Foothill outing on Wednesday, October 5. Nevada Union will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-5.
