The Chargers visited Peotone in a non-conference matchup. In the beginning of the match, the Chargers were possessing the ball in the attacking third, but unable to find a shot at the Peotone net. After about 10 minutes of play, the Blue Devils started to pressure the Chargers more and the game opened up a bit with some good counter-attack opportunities for both sides. The Blue Devils earned a great chance on a nifty through ball, but Josh Alexander, the Charger keeper made a great play on it to keep the match tied. Shortly after, the Chargers got an uncontested shot inside the PK spot that was stopped by Devils keeper. The Blue Devils converted a PK late in the first half to take a 1-0 lead. In the second half, it was all Blue Devils as they converted on three opportunities in the first 20 minutes of play. The Chargers record is now 10-8 on the season.
