The Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA) soccer the visiting Mercy Warriors (Red Bluff, CA), 5-2 in Thursday's league bout.
With the win, Los Molinos betters its record to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Esparto (Esparto, CA) to face the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Esparto won 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against Williams (Williams, CA)
In their next game, the Warriors face the Hamilton Braves (Hamilton City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 23. Mercy will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Colusa (Colusa, CA).
On the first half the game was leaning towards Mercy since they seemed to keep the ball on the others side of the field for the most part. Spirits were down for both teams.
Towards the end when Los Molinos had made a shot an inch in the goal post but, then pulled away from the goalie, may players as well as the audience were fired up. Many were upset about the calls that the refs were making but, not even them could stop what was coming. "Goooal!" The crowd cheered it was time to start playing for Los Molinos.At the second quarter the game started to become intense for all. It seemed as if energy flowed through all through the players. One goal after another came; making eveyone catch zeal and passing it on to the next. In the end the score was five to two and the Bulldogs took the win.
