The Dons hosted the second round of the Tri-Valley Challenge against defending NCS Champions Berkeley with a 2-1 victory. Amador scored just before the half on a nice pass from Cyrus Berglin to Zion Kiehle. Kiehle put the first goal in for the defending TVC Champions. Then mid way through the second half, Kiehle found Jack Durham for what would turn out to be the game winner. For just 2 minutes after Durham made it 2-0, Berkeley put in one of their own when Leonard Garcia-Gabriel placed a goal just inside the left post on the assist from Bracken Serra. Berkeley pressed hard for the remainder of the match and created many chances, but could not convert again. Late in the match, Amador's Nick Chau hit the left post and the deflection was cleared by the Yellow-jackets. Amador improves to 1-1-1 and plays next in a non-league contest this Monday, Dec. 4 vs Alhambra @ Amador, 6:00 pm.
