Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), witnessed McCracken County's softball squad prevail over Marshall County by a count of 15-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Webster County for a non-league match on Friday, April 20. McCracken County will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Marshall County moves to 6-2 on the season. The Marshals host Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY) to meet the Colonels in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 24. The Colonels go into the match with a record of 13-3. Christian County lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against Sparkman (Harvest, AL)
