The Tippecanoe Red Devils volleyball team lost Wednesday's home non-conference match against Archbishop Alter by a score of 3-0.
Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Tippecanoe Red Devils (Tipp City, OH), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Knights battle the Mother of Mercy Bobcats (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 6. Archbishop Alter will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH).
With the loss, Tippecanoe drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Red devils host Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH) to battle the Arrows in a Central Buckeye match on Thursday, September 1. The Arrows come into the match with a record of 1-0. Tecumseh won 3-0 in their recent league match against Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH)
In this recent rivalry, Alter has prevailed the past several years. Tonight, Alter's power and defense was simply too much for Tipp. The offense was spread throughout Alter's players, and so was the defense. It was no contest as Alter won in 3 straight sets.
