The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs volleyball team lost Friday's neutral tournament match against Texas School for the Deaf by a score of 2-0.

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX) and the visiting California School for the Deaf Cubs (Riverside, CA), observed Texas School for the Deaf's volleyball squad top California School for the Deaf by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Rangers battle the California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 8. Texas School for the Deaf will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 6-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Model School for the Deaf (Washington, DC).
With the loss, California School for the Deaf drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Roadrunners in a non-league match on Saturday, October 8. The Roadrunners come into the match with a record of 15-1. New Mexico School for the Deaf won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Desert Academy (Santa Fe, NM)
