The California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA) varsity volleyball team won Friday's neutral tournament match against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC) by a score of 2-1.

The California School for the Deaf Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Model School for the Deaf Eagles to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. California School for the Deaf will meet a Sentinels team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-13.
The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Seed Academy (Washington, DC). The enter the Freelance game with a 0-1 record.
