The Dragons (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL). The Eagles enter the 3A District 3 game with a 0-1 record.
This game was a heartbreaker, but I think the girls realized that they can hang with “big dogs” if they set their minds to it. With not even three weeks of practice and just having our second game, the girls are playing well and becoming a team! St. Joe was not excepting us to come in there and hang with them, much less go five games!! The games were a bit of a rollercoaster with the girls giving up quite a lead several times. The third game, we were ahead 23-15 and let them come back, but they hung in there and pulled out the win. Overall, it was a great game and a great lesson learned. We are ready to face them again in our gym on 9/27!
