The Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings volleyball team (Milwaukee, WI), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Menomonee Falls Indians (Menomonee Falls, WI)
The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI). The Spartans enter the Greater Metro challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Brookfield East was nudged by Catholic Central (Burlington, WI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Catholic Memorial Crusaders (Waukesha, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 27. Wisconsin Lutheran will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI).
This win, followed by Wisconsin Lutheran's win over East Troy, created a three-way tie for 1st place in pool BB. Wisco began the play off for second place in the pool by defeating East Troy. And Menomonee Falls won the playoff v Wisco for first place in the pool. The victory put Menomonee Falls in the Gold Bracket.
