While the Panthers put up a fight against the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies, it was not enough to the win. Harrison High School played well, passing a season high of 2.06 on serve receive, earning 75 digs, and 5 blocks; however they struggled offensively at the net. The Panthers failed to make the necessary adjustments to avoid and challenge Mesa Ridge's tough blocks and determined defense. Harrison hit positively as a team, but it was insufficient since they needed to earn more points as a team, instead of only relying on the Grizzlies' errors. Furthermore, although the Panthers served with 94% consistency, they only earned 7 aces, much lower than their other games this season. The Panthers are excited to take a lesson about mental toughness away from this loss, and continue to work on honing their game at the net.
