Congratulations to Freddie Scribner for being selected as Player of the Week. Freddie Scribner is a 5'10", 170 pound senior RB/DB who had an outstanding game in Andover’s 48-46 OT loss to Central Catholic on Thanksgiving Day 11/24/11. The versatile Scribner had 8 tackles and a pass defended on defense. Freddie also had 8 rushes for 47 yards including 17 a yard TD run and 3 pass receptions for 27 yards on offense. Also having a great game was Will Clark, a 5'11", 185 pound senior ILB and team captain. Will started his first game since his sophomore year after missing all of last season and the first 8 games of this season due to injuries. Will had 6 tackles and a 35 yard interception return for a TD. View Previous Selections

Posted: Wed, Nov 23 2011 Congratulations to Andy Coke for being selected as Player of the Week. Andy Coke is a 6'1", 205 pound senior QB/RB/DB who had a dominant offensive game in Andover’s 26-21 victory over Lowell on Friday November 12th. Coke had 245 yards rushing on 30 carries and three TDs while taking 80% of the snaps at QB. Andy also was 8 of 10 passing for 76 yards and a TD. He broke the school rushing record last season with 1,841 yards and has 1,091 rushing yards so far this season. Coke has received football scholarship offers from both Ivy and CAA schools. Ken Miyachi is a 5'10", 161 pound Junior CB/WR who had an outstanding game in Andover’s 44-28 win vs. Billerica on Friday November 4th. Andover’s 26-10 loss vs. Dracut on Friday October 28th. The versatile Zavrl also caught a 2 point conversion pass in the game. Mark is two year starter on defense and is also a talented kicker and punter, with 20 PAT kicks and 5 field goals so far this season. Matt Crush is a 6'2", 230 pound senior OG/DT/LB who had a dominant game on both sides of the ball in Andover’s 48-28 loss to Chelmsford on Saturday October 15th. He had six tackles in the game and had a significant impact in his first game playing linebacker.
