Congratulations to Mary Kate Evans for being selected as Player of the Year. Mary Kate averaged 19.3 pts.(2nd)/13.0 rebs.(1st)/4.4 blks.(1st)/62 free throws 73% (2nd)/ 2.9 steals 5th in league play and was named 1st team all league and she's only a Junior! Casey Nero also had a great year at the point guard position. 8.7 pts.(11th)/5.2 assts.(2nd)/4.4 steals(2nd)/34 free throws 71% (5th) Best defensive player in the league and stepped up with 14 pts. and 19 pts. in the final two CIF games when Mary Kate went down with a torn miniscus. Also named to the 1st team all league. We'll miss her next year. Great job also goes out to Emilie Boege. Solid year. Moving on to Dominguez Hills College on a scholarship next year. Lead the league in 3's at almost two per game. sixth in rebounds at 7.4 per game. named to the 2nd team all league. Great job, we'll miss you too. Great job Hounds!View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Casey Nero for being selected as Player of the Week. Casey had 14 points/ 6 assists/ 6 rebounds/ and 6 steals in a win over St. Lucy's. 19 points in a close loss to Oak Park in the CIF simi finals. Camille LeBlac, Melody Simonsen Ayers,Emilie Boege, and Cristy Scarson also had good games in picking up for the loss of Mary Kate Evans for the last two games.
