Player of the Week
Sophomore RB Tony James #3, had 13 carries for 80yds, and 9 receptions for 96 yds, tallying 176 All-Purpose yds and adding a rushing TD on the night.
Trace tallied 15 solo tackles and was all over the field defensively in a losing effort.
Rakeem Wiggins had a break out game after returning from a knee injury. He tallied 10 tackles (7 solo), 2 sacks, 1 TFL, and 1 FMBL caused.
Trace had 9 total tackles, including 1 for loss and a forced fumble.
Brandon turned in a 14 tackle performance flying all over the field in a close loss to Santa Fe.
Kenny Scott played non-stop both sides of the ball, recording 50 yds rushing and 6 tackles on defense.
Quinlan Washington came off the bench to spark the Buchholz offense at QB with his running and passing, while still contributing to defense at Free Safety. He threw his 1st Varsity TD pass in the 2nd half, a 50 yd TD to Jared Goar.
Tony James was named player of the week for his 167 yd + 2 TD rushing performance.
Justin Kientz was named player of the week for his exceptional blocking that allowed the Buchholz offense to Rush and Pass its way to over 500 yds of offense for the 2nd consecutive game.
Kenny lead the team in rushing with 231 yds and 3 TD's including an 80yd TD run. He helped Buchholz get its first win of the season with a combined offensive total of over 433 yds rushing!
