Congratulations to Justin Lopez for being selected as Player of the Week. Justin Lopez is a starting defensive back and a promising reserve left halfback for our Wing-T offense. In this past weeks game, Justin ran two big runs for over 25 and 75 yards, as well as caught a pass for five yards. Justin finished with over 100 yards rushing (180 total) and two rushing touchdowns (both rushing touchdowns coming with 3:00 minutes left in the 4th quarter). We look forward to two more exciting years with Justin as he is already starting to rise to the expectations of our staff as a Sophmore. Furthermore we believe he will do some special things off the field as well as he is also a good student and productive citzen. Posted: Tue, Oct 04 2011 Congratulations to Samuel Mohr for being selected as Player of the Week. Sammy Mohr stepped up in a major way in a game that was known as the seesaw battle of the unbeatens. Mohr’s game-winning return came just after Sussex Tech (3-1, 1-1) had taken a 23-18 lead on Kani Kane’s 3-yard touchdown run, his second of the game. He stepped up on both Defense with a few tackles and contributed in a major way for the offense with not only his game winning kick return but with an 8 yard TD run in the first quarter as well as a crucial 39 yard TD bomb from Cody Dmiterchick. Furthermore Sammy Mohr and many great blocks and other clutch catches as well to set up the victory of 26-23 and possibly one of the greatest victories in this program's history. Once again Congratulations Sammy Mohr on being player of the week.

Posted: Tue, Sep 27 2011 Congratulations to Jerome Johnson for being selected as Player of the Week. Jerome Johnson has had one heck of a year to begin with by rushing over 200 yards in his first 3 games. The first game against Laurel, Jerome rushed for over 227 yards on 23 carries, then against Lower Cape May he rushed for 257 yards on 32 carries with 3 touchdowns and this week he rushed for 248 yards on 24 carries with 6 touchdowns!!! Jerome is a big part of the game plan this upcoming week against cross county rival Sussex Tech and we look forward to him to have another 200+ yard game.
