Congratulations to Cliff Gibbens for being selected as the Varsity Basketball Player of the Week. Cliff Gibbens is our final Player of the Week for the 2010-2011 season, for his outstanding effort against Sangre de Cristo in the District playoffs. Cliff came off the bench to contribute 12 points and was the catalyst in our incredible 4th quarter comeback. He was 1-3 from the field, 2-2 from beyond the arc, and 4-4 from the line, with only 1 turnover. Way to go, Microwave!View Previous Selections

Henry Linehan grabs his 2nd Player of the Week honor for his efforts in the wins over Antonito and South Park. Henry recorded the 1st ever Double/Double by a Titan guard, with 16 points and 10 rebounds vs. Antonito on Friday night. He also had 5 steals and 3 assists. Anton had a really fine game against La Veta on Saturday, scoring 18 points on 9 of 17 shooting from the field. He added 7 rebounds, played outstanding defense, and had ZERO turnovers for the game. Anton Peck earns his 2nd Player of the Week Award with a strong outing vs. Sangre de Cristo. Anton scored 22 of CB's 28 points on 9 of 19 shooting from the floor, plus 4 of 6 from the line. He also contributed 7 rebounds and held his man (one of the top 5 scorers in the 2A state class at 20 PPG) to just 8 points. Anton also had 10 points and 5 rebounds on Friday night vs. Del Norte. Posted: Thu, Jan 27 2011 Congratulations to Tshering Sherpa for being selected as the Varsity Basketball Player of the Week. Tshering Sherpa is our latest Player of the Week. Tshering was outstanding in Saturday's action vs. Center! He played the entire JV game, scoring 11 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. Posted: Thu, Jan 13 2011 Congratulations to Jesse Reeves for being selected as the Varsity Basketball Player of the Week. Jesse Reeves is our Player of the Week this week, narrowly edging out Anton Peck, who had 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals against Cripple Creek. Jesse had a superb game against Cripple Creek as well, scoring a career-high 18 points on 6 of 7 from the line and 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. Jesse also added 4 assists and held his man (averaging 10 PPG) to only 5 points on defense. Jesse has run the offense for 3 straight games in Henry's absence, guiding his team to 3 wins and scoring 13, 14 and 18 points along the way. Way to go, Jesse!View Previous Selections

Jake notches his 2nd selection as Player of the Week for his performances in the recent wins over Sierra Grande and Lake County, just edging out Jesse Reeves. Jake had back-to-back Double/Doubles, with 15 points/12 rebounds/4 blocks vs. Sierra Grande, and 12 points/10 rebounds/5 steals vs. Lake County. Our Player of the Week for the High Country Invitational Tournament at Middle Park is Henry Linehan. Henry averaged 14 points and 3 assists over the three games in leading the Titans to the Tournament Championship. Congratulations to Jake Grogg for being selected as the Varsity Basketball Player of the Week. Our Final Player of the Week for the 2009-2010 season is Jake Grogg. Jake had 7 rebounds and 16 points against Centennial on 2/23 - shooting a fine 8 of 16 from the field. He followed that performance with an outstanding defensive game against Creede - holding the Conference Player of the Year to just 6 points in the 3 quarters Jake guarded him man-to-man. He closed the season with 10 rebounds and a 4 for 4 performance from the free throw line against Primero on 2/27. Way to go, Jake!View Previous Selections

The coaches have selected Sky Egelhoff as the Player of the Week for last week. Sky had his best game ever against Creede, hitting 3 of 4 treys and shooting 3 for 4 inside the arc as well. Posted: Sat, Jan 23 2010 Congratulations to Henry Linehan for being selected as the Varsity Basketball Player of the Week. Henry Linehan was absolutely AMAZING on the recent 3-game road trip! Henry suffered a severe cut over his eye early in the Primero game - he not only returned after being bandaged up, but continued to fight constant bleeding (& a change of uniforms) throughout the game.
After 6 stitches Thursday night, he scored 12 points in the Friday Holy Trinity game, despite not being able to fully see out of the swollen eye. He came back on Saturday against Centennial and did a masterful job of handling the ball against their constant full court pressure. Well done, Henry!View Previous Selections
