   Congratulations to Alexandra Choquehuanca for being selected as Player of the Week. Senior catcher Alexandra Choquehuanca capped her last home game with a stellar effort on both sides of the plate. In front, Alexandra went 2 for 3, scored 2 runs, earned 3 RBI's, and crushed a 4th-inning triple.     Congratulations to Jessica Sosa for being selected as Player of the Week. Right-handed senior pitcher Jessica Sosa earned a complete-game win with a gem against Western League rival University High. In seven innings, Jessica faced 31 batters, threw only 86 pitches, and gave up two walks while striking out three Wildcats. 14. Player of the Week: 4/22/2012

    Congratulations to Daphenie Aviles for being selected as Player of the Week. Right-handed senior Daphenie Aviles alternates between shortstop and first base for the Lady Lions' defense, but she has also played third base and left field this year. Daphenie has scored eight runs for her team and batted in another ten. Daphenie provides power in the middle of the batting line-up and holds a .279 average over the season.View Previous Selections

    Congratulations to Adilene Ramos for being selected as Player of the Week. Senior starter Adilene Ramos is the perfect example of a utility player. Equally capable in both the infield and the outfield, Adilene has played four different positions in the last four games, 2nd base, 3rd base, right field, and left field.
