Congratulations to Chandler Redix for being selected as Player of the Year. Chandler Redix was selected player of the year for the Granite Hills Cougars. Chandler Redix average 14.4 ppg, 3.0 Apg, 2.7 spg, 2.1 3 pointers per game and shot 75 % percent from the Free throw line. When Chandler was injured during the Barstow game on January 26, 2011, the Cougars lost their final four games of the season and did not qualify for the playoffs. Congratulations to William Morgan for being selected as Player of the Week. William Morgan, is player of the week. He has really exhibited a desire to win, and compete in the last to weeks of the season and has shown leadership by being unselfish and trying to do the little things to help his team win, such as dribble penetration to the middle of the lane, which helps to break down the opponents interior defense. Playing outstanding perimeter defense on opposing teams guards. He led the team in scoring against Barstow with 14 pts and 4 steals. Congratulations. View Previous Selections

William Morgan played a tough brand of basketball with a passion for defense this week in two tough losses one against Silverado where he block a dunk attempt by Mateo Jones. In the game against Burroughs he played with passion and heart, and with a desire to win, but the team came up short.
