Congratulations to Chance Tolen for being selected as Player of the Week. Chance has an OBP of .452, which is third best on the team. His attitude in the dugout and on the field has been exemplary this year. He has caught both games behind the plate in each of our last 2 double headers. Posted: Mon, May 07 2012 Congratulations to Ray Talavera for being selected as Player of the Week. Ray had a great day on Friday in the field as well as at the plate. He caught 7 fly balls in left field battling the sun for much of the afternoon. At the plate his bunting skills continue to impress the coaching staff. He had 5 hits, raising his OBP to .481, in addition Ray had 4 RBI's. Thursday night Ray scored a run and had a hit. He also threw out a runner at third base from his left field position!
