Congratulations to Meg Goodrich for being selected as Player of the Year. All-Division,All-Area, 2nd Team All-State
Meg anchored our team's serve receive and defense all season. She effectively hit from the back row as well as the front row all season long. A smart player who could find open spots to tip to as well, Meg did a great job keeping defenses off guard all year.
Perhaps her biggest strength was her serving. Meg could routinely rattle off 5 or 6 points in a row with her powerful, well-placed serves. This was a major offensive weapon for our team all season long.
Meg was a great captain with a great work ethic and attitude. She set the bar very high for future captains and players in the Guilford program. View Previous Selections
