Fofa had some great runs including one that he finished with the Torreys first goal.
Matt score the opening goal and his corner kicks resulted in the next two tallies. His runs at the Preuss defense repeatedly caused problems for the opponents.
Nick played a strong first half at forward before he was forced to move into goal replacing Seth Gans who left the game with concussion.
Alex was a key part of the defensive effort. He was particularly impressive in the air as he repeatedly won headers that thwarted the Eagles opportunities to attack.
Grayson played a great game, organized the defense and displayed leadership.

Ben had probably the best outing of his career as he played with enthusiasm and confidence in this key league contest.

Ben played a strong game in the middle of the field in spite of suffering from tendinitis in his knee.
Senior co-captain Alo Hussong had another great day spearheading Torrey defense.
Junior Ben Engfelt moved to defense from his normal midfield position and had an outstanding outing.
Alex played another strong game as he helped to control the talented Mount Miguel midfield. He also won numerous headers.
Nick had a big offensive game with two goals and two assists. He also made a number of good passes allowing Torrey's to dominate the game.
Grayson led a tough Torrey defense while winning a number of headers and making an amazing goal-line save late in the game.
Sean Shevel led the team with 2 goals and an assist.
Alo played a stellar defensive game, assisted on the first goal and then scored on a great individual effort to tie the game.
