Congratulations to Chad Irving for being selected as Player of the Year. Congratulations to Chad Irving for being selected as Player of the Year. This player endured a lot pain this season and he was committed to us all year. He was and still is a hard worker. Chad was a springboard for us this season. Starting in the early tournaments to get us off to the great start that we had. He also helped us to bring home the first championship back to Lawndale since 2007. We commend Chad because he is the epitome of our team philosophy and style. Philosophy: Cooperation breeds Champions and Style: Play Hard, Never Quit. In his last game vs. Centennial he was one of the major keys in helping us to a comeback win and he was a stalwart in all of the games he participated. Posted: Wed, Feb 15 2012 Congratulations to Chris Munoz for being selected as Player of the Week. Chris averaged 18.5 ppg off the bench this week. He and Rolland Pearsall were all Pioneer League a year ago as starters. Both have served at least 10 games coming off the bench and providing leadership. Chris' points per game were big on two big road victories to close out a seventy percent winning clip in the Pioneer League. The Cardinals finished with a 2nd place mark at 7-3, this is a tie with the best league finish in school history. We commend Will Newman for averaging 16 ppg this week, with 21 pts vs South @ South.View Previous Selections
