Michael Trent led the Maranatha Eagles to a San Diego City Championship over the previously undefeated Kuyper Admirals. His 73 yard punt return for a touchdown was the turning point in the 34-26 victory and his vocal leadership from the sideline once he was injured encouraged his teammates to shut out the Admirals in the second half.View Previous Selections

Josiah Rubia led the Eagles defense to a key victory this week against the Ocean View Patriots, setting up the Eagles to play next Friday for the League Championship against Kuyper.
