Congratulations to Joel Smith for being selected as Player of the Year. Joel was selected as the Varsity Most Valuable Wrestler for the 2011-2012 season. Joel, co-captain of the wrestling Lions, went deeper into the post season than any CKM Wrestler has in over twenty-five years. Joel led the team in victories and pins.

After qualifing for the D2 Divisional Tournament with a 2nd place finish at the Metro League Wrestling finals, Joel wrestled well enough, in a very tough weight class, to qualify for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Masters Championships.
