Congratulations to Lamont Odom for being selected as Player of the Week. Lamont led the Pirate offense against a tough St. Francis defense during this CIF Western Division first round game. Odom had 3 rushes for 27 yards, and completed 16 of 22 passes for 167 yards and 1 touchdown.The Pirates however came up short, losing to the Golden Knights 45-28. View Previous Selections

Posted: Thu, Nov 10 2011 Congratulations to Deon Moore for being selected as Player of the Week. Deon Moore led the Pirates to a thrilling 43-42 overtime victory against Warren. The win puts Paramount in sole possession of first place in SGVL play with a 4-0 record. Deon had a TD reception, an 80 kick off return for a TD, 46 yards rushing,7 receptions for 91 yards, an interception, 9 tackles, and scored two 2-point conversions including the winning conversion in OT. The Senior Captain playing with a heavy heart with the passing of his grandfather during the week played and outstanding all around game highligthed with a dazzling 59 yard TD run.
