Congratulations to Julia Campos for being selected as Player of the Week. #9 Julia Campos
Just a sophomore, Julia has already established herself as one of the premier scoring threats in Tulare County. She plays the game with outstanding pace and constantly puts herself in position to score for her team. Julia has served as the team’s primary striker for most of the season, but she possesses unique skills sets that allow the coaching staff to use her at different positions. Julia is one of the more exciting players to watch in the area and will continue to be a scoring threat for years to come.
“Julia plays with intense ball control and has her heart set on winning every ball that is played to her. Julia inspires and encourages other players on the field and is a real team player.”

Ally is a second year varsity player who has turned in a great season for the Rangers. A speed dribbler, who has a knack for being at the right place at the right time, Ally has provided the Rangers with senior leadership and has shown the underclassman what Redwood soccer is all about. Ally has proven to be a clutch player and provided the backbreaking goal in a 6-1 win over El Diamante which set the tone for the Ranger’s season. Ally is the definition of a team player. Her winning attitude and ability to set up her teammates makes her an irreplaceable part of the Ranger team.
“Ally is a strong player and a hoot to be around! She has mad soccer skills that make her a solid player we can always count on…and it doesn’t hurt that she has killer dance moves!”

Alyssa has had one of the best weeks of her soccer career. On Wednesday afternoon she signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the next four years at Fresno State. About six hours later Alyssa delivered two goals in a 3-0 victory against El Diamante that gave the Rangers the outright WYL Championship. Alyssa is the heartbeat of the Redwood Rangers. She plays with passion and aggressiveness that is unmatched in the Central Valley. Alyssa’s leadership has guided the team all year; she truly demonstrates what Redwood soccer is all about.
“One word to describe Alyssa would be BEAST! She is a leader on and off the field. I think she has inspired us all to be more passionate towards the game of soccer. Her intimidating presence and aggressiveness will be greatly missed. I love you!!!!”
